AFL: West Coast will take on not just Collingwood at the MCG but also 90,000 Collingwood fans as Scott Pendlebury becomes the games record holder.

Bo Allan replaced Jack Hutchinson who was injured again last week while Collingwood get Darcy Cameron, Darcy Moore and Patrick Lipinski back.

However, West Coast, who have adopted the name Waalitij Marawar for Sir Doug Nicholls Round, will bring some confidence to the MCG after upsetting the Giants last week.

Can the Eagles steal the show? Follow all the action in our live blog to find out.

Yips

Jack Crisp is still waiting to kick goal 100 after missing from dead in front.

He’s been waiting weeks for the milestone because he just can’t buy it.

The Eagles have won the first quarter for the first time this season!

It helps that Collingwood missed six times but this is huge for the young Eagles in front of hostile and seething crowd.

Reid has three clearances early and the Eagles are flying in the midfield as Bailey Williams follows up his good work from last week.

Hamish Davies has the most touches on the ground with eight while Duursma is relishing his first steps at the home of football.

Titanic start

Both teams are throwing themselves into this game and the Eagles look the sharper of the two teams.

The Pies have crafted more chances but have kicked four behinds but the visitors are finding a way to coast-to-coast regularly and lead the inside 50 count.

Their pressure is good but is yet to reach the heights of last week.

Statement made

Harley Reid isn’t over awed by the occassion.

Tighest of angles!

Lipinski has made sure the fans know he’s back.

Pinned against the boundary he somehow works the angle and drop punts through a goal.

It’s still be a very bright start from the Eagles. The Pies got some lucky bounces in defence.

Yeo Yeo!

Collingwood are yet to really touch the ball and Yeo is left all alone at the back of the pack and snaps an easy goal!

It’s a nice early start for the visitors who have shown some intent.

Underway!

Tim Kelly mans Pendlebury at the first bounce with Reid and Yeo also in the middle.

Williams knocks the first tap down Reid’s throat but De Goey flattens him.

He made up for it from the next clearance by don’t argueing Pendlebury!

Boomer!

Brent Harvey flips the coin and Liam Baker wins the toss over Scott Pendlebury.

We are moments away from starting.

Atmosphere

There is a grand final-like vibe around the ground as the fans wait in anticipation.

The record isn’t official until the siren sounds.

Also, the 15 least experinced Eagles have played only 407 games between them!

Pendlebury has 433.

The reveal!

Pendlebury enters the field wearing the Indigenous-inspired warm-up top but pulls it off to reveal the gold No.10 as music rips out across the ground.

Dan Houston, who is playing his 200th today, gets some recognition on the back of the banner.
