Fremantle star Jordan Clark’s memorable 2026 season just got even better, with the defender and his partner Paige McCarthy welcoming their son into the world on the weekend.
Miss McCarthy announced that Harvey Shayne Clark was born on Saturday, posting pictures of the potential future Dockers father-son product on her Instagram page.
Several Fremantle players, their partner, fans and even former Geelong captain Joel Selwood welcomed Harvey into the world, who came in weighing 4.455kg.
“Hello big boy!! Congratulations Mum and Dad,” Selwood wrote in the comments.
It caps of a stellar year for Clark, who was a key member of the Dockers’ run to a second grand final appearance, becoming a two-time All-Australian as one of the best half-backs in the game.
The 26-year-old Claremont product has been a mainstay of Fremantle’s best 23 since he returned home from Geelong at the end of 2021 season, having played 32 games in three seasons for the Victorian club.
Clark has played all 121 games for the Dockers in only five seasons including 27 this season when he averaged 22 disposals and three inside 50s in an incredible year.
He also won the Glendinning-Allan Medal as the best on ground in the round six western derby, having recorded 27 disposals and a goal in the 56 point victory at Optus Stadium.

Clark and McCarthy announced the pregnancy in April, while they held a baby shower in August.
The backman is contracted at the Dockers until the end of 2028, having inked a three-year extension in April of 2024.
