Lunch

South Africa win that session.

They lost just one wicket and now lead by 102 runs.

The Aussies were also a bit hot under the collar by the end there as Starc shared words with Mulder about not running on the wicket and digging up the rough.

Renners!

Matt Renshaw has spun one away from Rickelton who had a drive.

The ball goes to slip for a catch but the umpire says not out.

The Aussies are convinced it took an edge but the review shows nothing.

The ball did graze Carey’s helmet.

200 up

The Proteas lead by 100.

And they still have five wickets in hand.

Australia still on top but the home side fighting back well.

SA 5-200

Ouch

Cummins gets a bouncer to crash into Mulder’s gloves with a bit of angle.

It will hurt the fingers but he’s done well to avoid knocking a catch to short leg.

1000

Rickelton hits a nice punch down the ground and brings up 1000 Test runs.

SA 5-189

The Trap!!!!

Breezkte has fallen to the short ball!

Can you believe it? They know exactly what Australia are trying to do and fall for it anyway.

He made a very nice 41 from 121 but that is a poor dismissal as he hooks the ball straight to fine leg.

Cummins will be relieved he finally has a scalp.

SA 5-181

Too easy

Cummins isn’t getting anything out of this surface.

The Aussies have not turned to a short-ball barrage yet, but it won’t be far away.

SA 4-176

Captain’s call

Cummins is onto the attack.

He will be desperate to break his wicket drought and bowl his team to victory here.

SA 4-171

Lead check

South Africa have moved their lead to 71 in the first hour.

Australia would have been hoping for a breakthrough before now.
