Perth fuel prices: ‘Cheap’ Tuesday relief for motorists as prices drop state wide

Perth drivers can breathe a sigh of relief when ‘cheap Tuesday’ makes a brief return this week with two servos setting prices not seen in more than a month.
A near 50 service stations across WA will have fuel below the painful $2 a litre mark at the bowser on Tuesday, a rare sight since the Middle East war began.
Vibe will be a popular chain tomorrow, with ULP prices at an average of 198.9 cents a litre on Tuesday — down from Monday’s average of 205.5c a litre according to FuelWatch.
The cheapest single outlet in the state is Vibe Oakford and Vibe Welshpool, with ULP going for the cheapest rate in a month at just 185.7c a litre. The low number beats out Costco’s and Burk’s prices of 187.3c a litre from way back in March 11.
Caltex remains the dearest retailers in Perth’s metro, stinging drivers an average of 216.8c a litre and will be the only retailer still above the 210c mark for ULP on Tuesday.
The cheapest petrol in Perth on Monday is at:
- Vibe Forrestfield, at 196.7c per litre in the East
- Burk Cannington, at 188.3c per litre in the South
- Vibe Neerabup, at 196.7c per litre in the North
Tuesday’s cheapest petrol in Perth will be at:
- Liberty Beckenham, at 199.9c per litre in the East
- Vibe Oakford & Vibe Welshpool, at 185.7c per litre in the South
- Vibe Beechboro, at 186.9c per litre in the North
Diesel drivers still have the pressure of rising prices crushing their wallets, seeing just a slight drop from Monday’s average of 313.6c a litre down to 311.4c across Perth.
Metro motorists will enjoy a price decrease in all products outside LPG and E85, each are set remain stagnant at 145.6c and 269.9c respectively.
The regions can enjoy in the state wide drop for ULP prices, with Port/South Hedland seeing the biggest dip from 239.5c to 235c.
