Perth traffic: Motorbike rider dies after tragic five-vehicle crash on Tonkin Highway

A motorbike rider has died after a horror five-vehicle crash on Tonkin Highway.

The 58-year-old man was pulled from under a car after becoming trapped in the crash, which unfolded at the Great Eastern Highway off ramp in Bayswater about 5.40am on Monday.

Police, St John Ambulance and towing services responded to the crash, which caused major congestion and shut down the Tonkin Highway southbound entry ramp from Guildford Road.

The major crash investigation section is investigating the crash, which involved four cars and the motorbike.
