Sean Forman’s domination of the Goldfields Eight Ball Association’s second division continued last Saturday with his victory in the annual closed singles tournament.

By defeating Bruce Fitzcharles in the final, Forman became a three-time winner — following previous triumphs in 2023 and 2021.

A veteran of local eight ball, Fitzcharles turned back the clock to grab the runner-up trophy from Sandy Gates and Bob Wakefield.

In last week’s domestic first division action, Grand Sharpshooters’ unbeaten start ended at the hands of Grand Trolley Boys.

Star and Garter Pirates and Grand Masters also banked victories while second division winners were Main Reef Breakers, Gala Warriors and Grand Workers.

The association will be represented by six teams at this weekend’s annual country week series in Perth.

Tournament action is being played at WA eight ball’s headquarters in Queens Park, starting on Saturday morning.
