A 56-year-old man died after his motorcycle left Albany Highway and struck trees in WA’s Great Southern in the early hours of Tuesday morning. WA Police say the man was riding a Honda motorcycle south on Albany Highway, north of Kojonup, about 12.30am when he left the road. The rider died at the scene after his motorcycle struck “several trees”. The crash occurred near the intersection of Cherry Tree Pool Road in Boscabel. Albany Highway was closed in both directions for several hours on Tuesday morning. Major Crash investigators have called for information about the incident.
