Swans pushed their way into the top four of the under-14s competition in the Southern Districts Junior Football Association after a convincing win over Eagles in round nine on Saturday.
Going into the match Eagles sat in fourth position and Swans in sixth but after a 40-point win to Swans, the ladder positions were swapped.
The Swans led by 13 points at half-time before booting four goals in the third term and keeping the Eagles scoreless to open up a 39-point buffer.
Both sides kicked a goal in the final term but Swans ran out comfortable 8.7 (55) to 2.3 (15) winners.
Lions remain undefeated after prevailing over Mt Barker and Roos defeated Denmark-Walpole in the other 14s match in round nine on Saturday.
Meanwhile on Tuesday night Saints won a thrilling contest over Power by a point.
In round nine of the under-12s on Friday night Power and Swans claimed wins against Saints and Bulldogs respectively.
In the other matches on Saturday morning, Denmark-Walpole remain on top of the ladder with a win over Eagles, and Lions got to claim their first win of the season in a great game against Mt Barker.
The SDJFA will wrap up their season in the next few weeks with rounds 10, 11 and 12.
The Year 3 end-of-season wind-up and fun afternoon will be held on Friday, September 11 from 4pm while the Year 4 Proudies Round and wind-up will take place on Saturday, September 12 from 10.30am.
The under-14s medal count will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 4pm.
The under-12s and 14s semifinals will be played on September 12 with the preliminary finals to follow on September 13 before the grand final on Saturday, September 19.
