South Stirling-bred striker Kathryn Slattery will rejoin her teammates this week as the Hockeyroos take on Japan in a three-Test series in Adelaide, which starts tomorrow.

After being left out of the Hockeyroos squad that played in the recent International Festival Of Hockey against the Netherlands, the USA and Japan, Slattery has linked up with the national women’s side ahead of the series against Japan.

The talented 24-year-old will be a key part of the Hockeyroos forward line as they tackle Japan, starting tomorrow night and finishing on Saturday.

Slattery has made 77 appearances for the Hockeyroos and scored 29 goals since making her debut in 2014.

A member of their Olympic Games squad in Rio last year, Slattery is now one of the experienced members of the national team as they look to rebuild towards the 2018 World Cup under new head coach Paul Gaudoin.
