Police arrest man after car chase in Denmark

Denmark police have charged a driver over an alleged pursuit in the south coast town.

Police posted an image of a crashed Subaru Forrester on social media on Tuesday morning and alleged the driver attempted to evade police while under the influence of drugs and driving while under a suspended licence.

In a Tweet this morning, Denmark police said the vehicle tried to outrun the police car whilst the driver was affected by methamphetamine.

“Trying to outrun police whilst you’re court suspended and drug affected,” the post said.

“Not a great start to the year for this driver.”
