New face joins the Advertiser’s weekly country football show The 4 Points
Popular weekly footy show The 4 Points will be hitting the social media screens with a little difference this year.
New Albany Advertiser sports reporter Calvin Sims brings a wealth of football knowledge as he joins host Cameron Newbold for season six of the show.
The 4 Points is a passionate and at times humorous look at all things Great Southern Football League.
The weekly video show was initially brought to life to expand the Advertiser’s coverage of country football in the Great Southern and it has grown over the past five years to be a regular watch for many footy followers.
Sims is an avid footy fan at all levels and is ready to sink his teeth into the GSFL action, giving viewers an insight into what’s making news in the Great Southern.
The show will again engage with local fans and the viewers will get their chance to ask questions and help decide the special guests and topics of discussion on the show.
The team will again provide news and results from the Ongerup Football Association and Upper Great Southern Football League to go along with the Advertiser’s main competition, the GSFL.
Inswing Sports Bar has again come onboard as the major partner and will provide vouchers for the Player of the Week in the GSFL, judged by our two footy scribes.
The 4 Points is filmed each week of the season and posted every Friday on the Advertiser Sport Facebook page.
