
Grand final : The 2023 Great Southern Football League will reach an exciting ending with their grand finals at Sounness Park in Mt Barker on Saturday.
After 15 regular rounds and three weeks of finals, premiers in four different grades will be decided.
This year’s grand final will feature representation from only three clubs with Railways, Albany and Royals dominating the four grades.
The action starts at 8.45am in the 16s with Railways taking on Albany before Royals and the Tigers clash in the colts decider at 10.30am.
The reserves grand final between the Sharks and Lions will start at 12.15pm.
All attention then turns to the GSFL league grand final between the Tigers and Sharks with bouncedown at 2.30pm.
The two sides clash in the league grand final for the second year in a row, the Tigers 29-point winners at Collingwood Park in 2022.
Either result in the league decider will be historic, as the Tigers chase a three-peat of flags that their club has never achieved while the Sharks are in pursuit of their maiden league premiership.

The teams are in for today’s league grand final between Railways and Albany.
The Tigers have made one change with ruckman Kobi Doust-Pamplin recalled and young midfielder Lachlan Cale dropped from their side that won the qualifying final a fortnight ago.
The Sharks are going in unchanged from their preliminary final side that beat Royals last week.
Reserves half time
