Albany Little Athletics wrapped up its season with Cate McDonald taking out the 14-17 years Peter Watson handicap at Mike Biddulph Athletics Ground last Saturday.

Jared Wiegele was runner-up to McDonald in the top age division for the 1500m event, in which athletes are handicapped according to previous performances.

In the under-7 category, Hannah Patterson was first across the line with Zoe Mills finishing as runner-up. Xavier Utber took out the under-13 division as Oliver Camins finished second, while in the under-11 race Kurtis Van Vliet was the winner with Jack Mills second across the line.

Lachlan Read was victorious in the under-9 race, ahead of Tatum Whalley.

Lorcan Contier has been awarded the Sue Howlett gong for the most personal bests throughout the season while Sophie McDonald has won the Mike Biddulph Citizenship Award.
