Denmark businesses have rallied to support families affected by this month’s devastating bushfires.

Boston Brewing Co. will host a bushfire relief fundraiser on Sunday for community members recovering from the fires that destroyed four homes and scorched 2150 hectares.

Boston Brewing Co. general manager Glen Daniel thanked the local businesses that had come together to do their part for the community.

“We had some of our staff that were affected and we know people in the town who were affected by the fire and obviously the town as a whole, so we are putting $2 from every large beer purchase on the day towards the cause,” he said.

“Hopefully we will raise a few thousand dollars and donate something to try and help the community to show that we are a part of it and thinking of everyone.”

The fundraiser will feature live music from The Numbats from 1.30pm and Rob V and Dougy from 5pm.

There will be raffle prizes donated by Denmark businesses, face painting, plus a dog wash service with $2 from every wash going to the cause.

Money raised will go towards the Denmark Community Foundation to support those impacted by the bushfire.
