Crews extinguish scrubfire close to homes in Denmark

Fire brigades were called to attend a scrub fire in Denmark yesterday afternoon which burned close to homes.

The fire was reported near the intersection of Braidwood Elbow and Anning Road at about 2.05pm yesterday afternoon.

Four bush fire brigades and one volunteer fire rescue service from Denmark attended the fire and successfully contained and controlled the blaze by 2.43pm.

Denmark fire crew have since patrolled the area again last night to confirmed that there were no sign of active fire in the area.

They will conduct their second patrol this afternoon.
