Denmark’s beloved Boston Brewing Co. has been crowned the best casual pub dining venue by the Australian Hotels Association WA.

More than 1000 people attended the AHA Hospitality Awards for Excellence last Monday night at Crown Perth to celebrate hospitality venues throughout the State.

Denmark’s Willoughby Park Winery and Boston Brewing Co. was nominated in four categories on the night and won the casual pub dining award.

Boston Brewing Co. general manager Glen Daniel said it was humbling to receive the award from the State’s hospitality industry.

“We won the family dining category last year and both of these awards are all we are about,” he said.

“I think we won the award because of the quality of service we deliver to our guests.

“And we always aim to create a lively ambience all year around.”

AHAWA chief executive Bradley Woods said the pace of innova-tion and evolution of WA’s hospitality industry over the past year had been extraordinary, with the quality of venues, products and service reaching new heights.

“These awards are an opportunity to applaud those in the hospitality industry who are achieving excellence in what is an extremely competitive sector,” Mr Woods said.

“Hotels, bars, restaurants, pubs, taverns, wineries and breweries across WA are continually exceeding expectations, with new and exciting offerings being complemented by inn-ovation within existing venues.”

There were 41 award categories at the event, including WA’s Best regional hospitality venue, won by Margaret River’s Settlers Tavern.
