Walpole’s Petrichor Gallery will host two exhibitions by award-winning Perth artists during the winter school holidays.

“ESCAPE” by Jennifer Gaye and Bronwen Holding’s “enchanted” will bring the walls of the town’s gallery to life next month when the work goes on show.

Gaye’s ESCAPE is a collection of vibrantly coloured, stitched artworks showcasing the organisation of thought and waves of emotion.

Each mixed media canvas, fine art paper and textile piece captures a different moment in the process of reflection, and the textures, hues and compositions share a story of escape.

In the extraordinary world of “enchanted”, botanical ceramicist Bronwen Holding showcases flower arrangements created from earthenware.

Drawing inspiration from her passion for gardening and WA flora, she captures the beauty of flowers in ceramic form.

Each petal, bud and leaf is handmade, painted and kiln-fired in her workshop.

The exhibitions run from July 3 to 31 at the Petrichor Gallery on Nockolds Street.

Hours are 10am-4pm.
