A burst of summer will hit Albany tomorrow as temperatures are set to reach 27 degrees.

The sunshine will not last long with the first summer thunderstorm possible for the south coast.

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a high 70 percent chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening and a chance of a thunderstorm.

Winds south-easterly up to 15 to 20 km/h will become stronger in the evening.
