Our popular PhotoWalk with Phones events are back. The first event will be in Fremantle on March 19, and we have also scheduled events in Guildford, Perth and Hillarys in coming months.

The PhotoWalk with Phones events are a relaxed and fun way to learn how to get the most out of your smartphone camera.

The 90-minute sessions are conducted by Travel Editor Stephen Scourfield and Travel Lead Photographer Mogens Johansen.

The pair have several decades of experience as working photographers, so you are in good hands. Stephen and Mogens will share a treasure trove of tips and tricks they use in their daily work for these pages. Participants will learn to identify good picture opportunities and practise using various composition techniques that will improve the look and impact of their pictures.

The PhotoWalks are suitable for iOS and Android phone users and are limited to 20 people so there’s plenty of time for one-on-one tutorials and questions. Participants will get a free booklet written by Mogens and Stephen which explains all the tips and tricks shared during the PhotoWalk.
