Fremantle continue to be prime-time viewing amid their historic season, with the AFL locking them in for another game under Friday night lights.

The AFL will release the fixtures for the final two rounds on Wednesday; however, Channel 7’s Tom Morris has revealed the Dockers will open the penultimate round of the season on August 14.

“The Friday night game is locked in, and it will be Freo and Adelaide,” he revealed on Seven.

“How appetising is that? The Dockers vs the Crows, prime time Friday night.”

It will be the seventh time the Dockers have played on a Friday night to go with their three Thursday night matches this season, all but two of which have been at Optus Stadium.

The time slot is a just reward for the high-flying Dockers, with the Flagmantle bandwagon bigger than ever, having broken the record for the biggest non-derby crowd twice this season.

Their average home crowd this year sits at more than 50,000, behind only Collingwood and Carlton with the AFL also looking to cash in on their success with prime time slots.

The sides last met in round four, where Fremantle triumphed in a thriller in round four with Alex Pearce’s late smother of James Borlase sealing a two-point victory.
