Australian white ball star Marcus Stoinis and fiancée Sarah Czarnuch reveal exciting baby news
Australian cricketer Marcus Stoinis and his fiancée, Sarah Czarnuch, will have more than just their upcoming nuptials to celebrate, revealing they’re expecting their first child.
Model and pilates instructor Czarnuch and Stoinis took to Instagram to reveal the news, posting a picture of them holding their ultrasound photos with the caption “Half of me, half of you.’’
The announcement has generated plenty of buzz in the cricketing landscape, with former WA teammates Josh Inglis and Cam Green among the first to offer their congratulations.
Melbourne Stars teamate Joe Clark and England Ashes opener Ben Duckett also responded with excitement and posted love hearts.
Channel 7 presenter Abbey Holmes and fellow broadcaster Neroli Meadows also celebrated the announcement, while Vini Maxwell, the wife of Australian white-ball star Glenn, posted “Omg!!!! Congratulations, I’m so happy for you both.”
Sasha De Kock, wife of South African star Quinton, also welcomed the news, “Ah yay, how exciting! Congratulations, guys.”
Their engagement post has more than 19,000 likes with WA stars Aaron Hardie, Ashton Agar, Cooper Connolly, Tim David and Jason Behrendorff among them, as well as West Coast star Elliot Yeo
The announcement comes after the couple got engaged in September last year, with Stoinis proposing on a boat during a European holiday with a huge diamond ring.
The couple split their time between Perth, where Stoinis was born and Melbourne, where the 36-year-old plays for the Stars in the Big Bash.
