Former Sydney Swans player Nick Blakey has been spotted in Perth as police continue to investigate the Pullman Hotel incident.
The 26-year-old, along with Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner, James Jordon, and Riley Bice, were suspended for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season after partying into the early hours of August 17 with exotic dancers at the East Melbourne hotel.
The hired dancers claim the players sexually assaulted them, however, no charges have been laid over the incident and the players have maintained their innocence.
Blakey, who has since been traded to North Melbourne, was spotted at in the western suburbs at the weekend.
He posed with fans, smiling for a selfie on Sunday.
Blakey arrived at the Roos on a reported eight-year deal believed to be worth around $11 million, having left the Swans with five years left on his contract there.
On his exit and in his first public comments since his suspension, Blakey issued an apology for his involvement in the incident.
“I want to say that I’m sorry for the events that led up to my exit from Sydney,” he said last week.
“I know I have to win back the trust of the broader community, football and otherwise.
“Now I have the opportunity to move forward and I want to thank North Melbourne for helping me find a fresh start.”
North Melbourne is also the club where his father John played 224 games.
Blakey is the only one of the ‘Pullman Five’ to have left the Sydney Swans.
On Friday, Victoria Police confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing.
