VideoSydney Swans player Isaac Heeney has been awarded the club's Most Valuable Player honour, receiving the Bob Skilton Medal despite being suspended.

Isaac Heeney has surfaced in Sydney as his estranged fiancee Steffie Waters enjoys a girls’ trip to the US, as rumours swirl about the pair’s relationship following the Pullman Hotel saga.

Heeney was spotted leaving a Thai massage parlour in the eastern Sydney suburb of Maroubra on Friday morning.

The Sydney Swans player, as well as Chad Warner, James Jordon, and Nick Blakey, are the subject of a police investigation into sexual assault at the Pullman Hotel in Melbourne on August 17.

Riley Bice was also present at the incident and was later cleared of criminal wrongdoing, but all five players were suspended from the Club following the alleged incident for breaching behavioural standards.

Police have not laid any charges in relation to the incident.

This masthead is not suggesting the players are guilty of any wrongdoing, just that they are assisting police with enquiries.

Heeney’s long-term partner, Steffie Waters, has removed photographs of the pair from her social media, including an image of the pair after they got engaged — notably, she has been pictured without her engagement ring.

Some photographs have also been tucked into carousels where they were previously visible on her profile.

While Heeney remains in Sydney, Ms Waters appears to have escaped Australia and is in the United States on a holiday with friends.

Ms Waters posted a photograph on her Instagram story showing her kneeling outside a Baptist church in Texas, jokingly praying for her lost luggage to return.

Heeney’s outing comes days after he won the Sydney Swans’ best and fairest award on October 1, where he apologised to the club.

“When I was told about this honour, it was the first time I’ve smiled and felt positive about the future for a long time,” he said.

“Every single day I was away from the club was heartbreaking … I want my actions moving forward to show how much this place and its people mean to me.”
