The owner of a pet lamb is appealing to a thief to “have a heart” after they brazenly stole the animal from her property in broad daylight.
The lamb was wearing a blue collar with a bell when someone pulled up outside a farm in Dwellingup, about an hour south of Perth, and took him.
“Please Bring him back, no questions asked,” the owner wrote in a desperate appeal to social media, arguing its obvious to tell the lamb is someone’s pet.
She also painted a picture of the person she believes took him.
“You pulled up in a white/light coloured duel cab rodeo or similar body shape ute,” she wrote.

“He would have run straight to you. You could have put him over the fence, instead you took him.”
The lamb owner asked the community to be alert to anyone who randomly arrives home with a lamb in tow.
“If your loved one comes home from the mines tonight or from somewhere Boddington direction with a male lamb that’s super friendly, he’s mine,” she said.
“Have a heart and bring him back.”
A reward is being offered for his return.
