Police are investigating how a man sustained serious injuries outside a Mandurah restaurant on Saturday night.

The 56-year-old from Falcon was found outside the Sunbreakers Restaurant on Mandurah Terrace about 7pm.

He was taken by ambulance to Peel Health Campus, and has since been transferred to Fiona Stanley Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information or dashcam footage of the area around 7pm is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
