Friday will bring slight bowser relief for Perth motorists as prices of unleaded petrol is set to dip below the dreaded $1.90 a litre mark at one generous servo.

Burk Cannington will be a busy spot come the morning, with unleaded petrol costing drivers 189.3c a litre — a figure not seen in weeks since the Middle East war skyrocketed fuel prices.

It was the same outlet that was forced to sell fuel for nearly $4 a litre last Tuesday following a typo gaff.

Outside of that Perth will see little relief to fuel price pain as Friday’s ULP average dips to 220.8c a litre, down just 4.7c from Thursday’s average.

Vibe will be the overall cheapest retailer for Friday, with ULP costing an average of 211.7c a litre. Caltex comes in as the priciest at 229.5c a litre.

While the average price of diesel will be 321.7c a litre, a marginal movement from Thursday’s 322.9c average.

The cheapest petrol in Perth on Tuesday is at:

  • Atlas Fuel Ascot, at 204.9c per litre in the East
  • Vibe Oakford Truckstop, at 199.2c per litre in the South
  • Vibe Bullsbrook, at 204.7c per litre in the North

Friday’s cheapest petrol in Perth will be at:

  • Atlas Fuel Forrestfield, at 199.9c per litre in the East
  • Burk Cannington, at 189.3c per litre in the South
  • Burk Landsdale, at 199.3c per litre in the North

LPG will be the only product to go up in price with a slight increase from 145.1c to 145.6c a litre.

The regions will follow Perth’s charge with prices slightly decreasing, with Bunbury hosting the lowest prices outside the metro region of ULP at 222.7c a litre on Friday.

Thursday saw steady stock of fuel, but there are still four stops around the state still without any petrol or diesel according to the FuelWatch website.
