Paramount Nightclub staff member critical after Northbridge incident

A nightclub staff member is suffering life-threatening injuries after an incident in Northbridge early this morning.

Police said the man was one of two who had to be hospitalised after an incident outside paramount Nightclub.

A St John Ambulance spokesperson told The West Australian both men were unconscious when police officers called for paramedics to attend.

The call from officers came at 4.37am.

The staff member, who is aged in his 40s, was rushed to hospital under priority with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The second man, who is aged in his 20s, was taken to a different hospital.

Forensics has now arrived at the crime scene and are currently photographing the area outside the club.

The investigation into the incident, including how the men came to receive their injuries, is going.
