Boy dies on Great Southern farm in quad bike accident

A teenage boy has died in a quad bike accident on a farm in Tenterden last night.

Police were advised St John Ambulance attended a farm off Nunijup Road about 6.40pm following reports someone had been injured in an accident involving a quad bike.

The St John Ambulance officers treated the 17-year-old boy, who tragically died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Worksafe have been advised of the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
