To celebrate International Dog Day today, the team at QT Perth is serving up something special for its four-legged guests.
For one week only, dogs checking in as part of the hotel’s Pup Yeah! package will be treated to their very own dot cake.
Created by dog bakery Woof Gateaux, the pint-sized cakes are made with dog-safe, sugar-free ingredients, and are decorated in colourful sprinkles.
It’s the latest addition to QT’s Pup Yeah! program, which welcomes dogs of all sizes for a hotel stay alongside their humans.
As part of its pet-friendly offering, rooms are kitted out with everything you and your pooch need for a comfortable stay, including orthopaedic memory-foam dog beds, grooming products from New Zealand brand smith&burton, and hand-baked treats from Australian pet brand St Argo.
There’s even a dedicated in-room dining menu for four-legged guests, with dishes including steak tartare and bacon-flavoured ice-cream — all made from dog-friendly ingredients, of course.
For pups keen to explore beyond the hotel room, QT’s Strut Your Pup digital guide points guests towards nearby walks, parks, dog-friendly cafes and popular photo spots.
The Pup Yeah! package at QT Perth costs an additional $120 for stays of up to three nights, with complimentary dot cakes available for stays checking in until August 31.
So, for those wanting to spoil their pooch this International Dog Day, why not book a stay at QT Perth and let them eat cake!
