A car crash into a light pole created pandemonium for commuters that were headed home with traffic heavily banked up on a busy Perth street.
The crash, on Leederville parade eastbound at Loftus street, blocked off the right lane as emergency and towing services attempted to quell the chaos.
The light pole is down and a bank up of cars are snaked back as far as the eye can see during the peak hour rush.
Main Roads WA alerted of the crash at 4.03pm.
The crash has since been cleared but caution is advised for motorists in the area.
