A frantic manhunt is over after a man escaped police custody on Sunday.
Jaiden Miller was at Barkly Work Camp in Tennant Creek when he went missing around 5.20pm.
NT Police said the 28-year-old is believed to have removed his electronic monitoring device and escaped the prison camp.
They said he might be travelling towards Alice Springs, which is about five hours away.
After police announced they were desperately trying to find the man and urged him to hand himself in, Miller was located.
Police said he was found around 11.45am on Monday and was arrested at a residence on Limonite Street in Tennant Creek.
They said he remained in custody and charges were expected to follow.
It is not clear what Mr Miller was in prison for.
