A kids chair has been stripped from the shelves at Target stores across Australia over concerns it could cause injury.

The recall was listed on the Product Safety Australia website and stated that the retailer’s Alfie kids chair – which is a wooden flat-packed chair for children – had defective screws.

“The three screws used to attach the legs to the base of the chair may be too short, and if a child rocks on it, leans on it at an angle, or climbs on it, the chair may break,” the alert stated.
