SWFL: Eaton appoint interim league coach Scott Tynan on permanent basis for the next two seasons

Eaton interim coach Scott Tynan has been appointed as permanent coach for the Boomers for the next two seasons. Tynan came into the season as the club’s reserves coach, but was appointed to the league side six weeks into the season after the resignation of Chris Kinninmont. A 33-point win over Collie in round 14 gave him his first win in charge of the club. The club confirmed the appointment in a Facebook post, calling Tynan “a popular and highly respected figure around the Club and the SWFL”. “We are excited to have him permanently in the senior coaching position after taking on the interim role earlier this season,” it read. “We all look forward to supporting Scott and the team for the remainder of this season and the next two years.” The Boomers, who will take on Bunbury at Payne Park this weekend, currently sit 10th on the ladder with a 2-13 win-loss record.
