Woofs, wags welcome at winery event
Rockcliffe Winery would like to invite you and your four-legged friend to attend the Wags and Wine event this Saturday.
Sales and marketing manager Dea Collen is excited to welcome all guests to the unique dog-friendly inaugural event.
“I’m a passionate dog lover with lots of friends who are also dog lovers — and we all somehow thought it’d be gorgeous if we got together and organise this dog-friendly event,” Ms Collen said. “We just want to do something fun and something out of the ordinary other than just taking your dog for a walk — and have a place where you can come and talk about your dog.”
Donna Russell and Darren Cahill will be one of the main guest speakers of the day as they share their dog training tips with the crowd.
Denmark Shire senior ranger Charmaine Shelly will also share some tips about responsible pet ownership during the event. Photo booths are available during the event for dog lovers and their four-legged mates to commemorate their day.
Groomers in the Heart owner Jill Gow will also be there for any guest who would like to get their dog groomed or even styled with a coloured hair spray.
Guests are also welcome to bring a picnic rug, and everyone will be able to enjoy the festivities while sipping Rockcliffe winery’s award-winning wines.
