Denmark’s South Regional TAFE campus has awarded four students scholarships to continue their studies.

Two Diploma of Music students have each received $750 scholarships donated by the Grist family.

Another student has received a $500 scholarship funded by the Jack Family Charitable Trust and another student has received a $500 scholarship funded by the Denmark Music Foundation.

South Regional TAFE managing director Duncan Anderson was grateful for the amount of support shown to the school by the sponsors.

“Through their support of our students the sponsors have shown their commitment to rewarding educational effort,” he said.

“Sponsors committing funds to the development of music in the town prove their dedication to the local music industry.” The scholarships will allow the students to continue their studies without the pressures of having to pay the entire amount of their final payments.

“As you embark on the next stage of your journey, we trust our continued encouragement and the assistance provided by the scholarship sponsors will help you to make a positive contribution to our community through your chosen career paths,” Mr Anderson said.
