Rain hail and .... more rain

More winter weather will be hitting Albany tonight with heavy rains and hail expected.

Heavy rain is expected tonight with possible hail recorded in many towns.

After reaching a high of 9.6 degrees Celsius today, the temperature is set to fall to 6 degrees later this evening.

As of 4.30pm, 12mm of rain was recorded since 9am this morning.

Walpole Police shared this photo on social media showing hail in a car park warning drivers to drive to the conditions and turn on their lights.
