Major Crash officers are investigating the crash that happened about 4pm near the Nanarup Road and Prideaux Road intersection.

Police say the man, Shane Mark Hadfield, was riding his black 2008-model Harley Davidson motorcycle in a north-westerly direction when, near the intersection, the motorcycle left the road and struck a tree.

He suffered critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators want to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Harley Davidson motorcycle in the area before the crash.
