Little Hazelnut is high-spirited

Albany Advertiser

Hazelnut is 12 weeks old and just one of many kittens in SAFE’s care looking for a loving home.

Hazelnut has distinctive markings and a playful temperament.

Her carer says she is a special girl.

“Her markings and weeping eyes make her look like a sad girl but she is very high-spirited and loves to play with fingers and toes under sheets,” she said.

“Because of her weeping eyes, she needs to be re-homed to a home as the only cat, or with one of her brothers — Maximus being the best candidate.”

Hazelnut is the smallest in her litter which makes her all the more adorable.

She loves warm spaces, mainly cuddles in a lap, and climbing to high places of scratching posts.

Hazelnut is vet checked, has had her second vaccination, microchipped and flea/worm treated with a steady diet of wet and dry kitten food and kitten milk, and has been socialised with dogs.
