Denmark Environment Centre hosted the Denmark business community’s monthly Business After Hours networking event on May 5. DEC supporter Simon Neville spoke about the projects the group and its volunteers were involved in. Denmark Chamber of Commerce president Chris Langslow welcomed the chamber’s new chief executive John Gates to his first monthly BAH event and thanked outgoing chief executive Sumer Addy for her contributions over the past two years. Oceanside Electrical’s Simon Summerfield was introduced as a new member and Estate 807’s Ola Tylestam was the winner of an illustrated book on local wildflowers.
