Cuddly Buddy good company

Jessica CuthbertAlbany Advertiser

Saving Animals From Euthanasia’s latest addition Buddy has captured the hearts of the community.

Buddy recently came into the care of SAFE after his owners could not be tracked down.

After a thorough veterinary examination Buddy was in need of some surgical procedures before he could be advertised on the SAFE website and look for a new home.

After an appeal to the public to help with the vet bills, Buddy captured the hearts of the community and donations came flooding in so he could receive the care he needed. SAFE made an appeal to reach $1000 and in less than 24 hours they had reached the goal.

Buddy is a six-month-old Shar Pei cross.

His carers at SAFE say he is a lovely young dog who is very cuddly and loves a good play.

He gets along with other dogs and cats and would be suitable in a family home.

The carers at SAFE said they were very grateful for the community support.
