Bluey and K-Pop Demon Hunters announced among entertainment for KidsFest 2026

This year’s two-day KidsFest will feature appearances from Bluey, K-Pop Demon Hunters, dinosaurs and circus performers on top of a jam-packed program of hands-on fun and entertainment.
The biennial event will return in the April school holidays, transforming the Oasis Playing Fields into a hub of creativity, adventure and family fun for children aged 12 and under.
Stage shows and meet and greets with Bluey Live Interactive Experience and K-Pop Demon Hunters will take place throughout each day, with live shows also expected from Science Alive, Real Dinosaurs, and Acrobatch Circus.
Away from the stage, children will find plenty to explore with bouncing castles, go-karting, face painting, Reptiles with Amy, Old MacDonald’s Farm, a silent disco, and dedicated under-five activity areas.
Various interactive games and workshops featuring science, art, music, cooking and sport, will also run throughout the weekend.
Mayor Glenn Wilson said KidsFest was one of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s most loved events which continued to bring families together from across the region.
“KidsFest has become a real highlight for local families, and is all about letting kids explore, play, and have fun,” he said.
“With the Bluey Live Interactive Experience coming to Kal, plus dinosaurs, circus acts and hands-on activities everywhere you look, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic weekend.
“As a dad with two young boys, shows and characters like this dominate playtime at our house.
“With young families making up one of our largest demographics, events like this reflect the city’s growth and are core to what our community values.”
He said he was proud to see the city keep the event free for families.
KidsFest will take place on April 18 and 19 from 9am to 3pm.
Pre-bookings are required for all Meet & Greet sessions with Bluey and Bingo but are not required for the K-Pop Demon Hunters sessions.
