Australia Post extends Christmas trading hours

The Centennial Park Post Office have extended their trading hours.

With less than four weeks until Christmas, Australia Post will keep Post Office doors open longer in the lead up to the busiest period of the year.

The post office on Sanford Road have the extended retail hours of 8:30am – 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 12:30pm Saturday and extended parcel hatch access 6am - 9am Monday to Friday until December 22.

Western Australia State Manager Donna Vecchio said the extended trading hours will provide customers more choice and convenience to send and receive their Christmas gifts in time for the big day.

"We know people are busy at this time of year, so we’re giving our customers more options to prepare for the festive season," she said.

"We predict this Christmas will be our busiest yet. Last year we delivered more than 34 million parcels over the Christmas period, a record we expect to break this year.
