ACCI appoints new CEO

A new chief executive officer has been appointed at the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mark Forrest’s appointment was confirmed by the ACCI Board yesterday.

ACCI president Caroline Hayes said they are delighted to announce Mr Forrest’s appointment.

“Mark won the role from an extremely impressive field of candidates from the Great Southern, Perth and interstate,” she said.

“He has qualifications in Management and Financial Management and has significant experience in senior management roles with private enterprise and not-for-profit organisations.”

Mr Forrest and his family have been regular visitors to Albany in recent years and are looking forward to relocating from Perth.

He will take up his new role on Thursday, May 24.
