A man is said to have exposed himself to a female worker before leaving the centre prior to authorities arriving.

The investigation comes after an anonymous post in the Yanchep & Surrounds People’s Page Facebook group asked: “Has anyone else got any more information on the guy wearing a mask inside Yanchep mall last night who flashed himself to a minor in the toilets and then tried to drag one of the cleaners into the toilet stall?”

Police have not confirmed the additional allegations made in the social media post.

Investigators are urging anyone who was at the shopping centre at the time of the incident, witnessed anything suspicious, or has information that could assist the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1800 333 000.
