A seven-year-old boy is tonight in a serious but stable condition in Perth Children’s Hospital with head injuries after being involved in a motorcycle crash.

The boy was taken to hospital when the motorcycle he was a passenger on hit a tree in parkland on Chandilla Street in Gosnells about 4.15pm.

In a separate incident, a four-year-old child was struck by a car in Madeley about 6.30pm tonight.

The child had minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution after being hit near the intersection of Olivedale Road and Cooper Street.
