A manhunt is underway after several people fled on foot after a crash in Perth’s south.

Emergency crews were called to Willeton just after 7pm on Monday after reports that a stolen grey Ford Falcon XR6 sedan had lost control and hit a tree.

By the time police arrived, the vehicle’s occupants were nowhere to be seen.

Instead, police spotted several people fleeing the area on foot.

Cannington Police are investigating and inquiries are ongoing.
