Perth traffic: Kwinana Freeway closed as woman airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital after crash in Baldivis

A woman has been airlifted to hospital after a crash that closed Kwinana Freeway northbound this afternoon.

The woman in her 40s was reportedly struck by a passing vehicle while attempting to fill up her car on the roadside just after 1pm.

She was airlifted by helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

It is understood the woman received an injury to her hand.

The Kwinana Freeway was closed northbound between Karnup Road and Safety Bay Road, but has since reopened.
