Tomorrow’s average price for unleaded petrol in the Perth metro area is 169.4 cents per litre, the highest on record.

That figure breaks the previous record of 169 cents per litre, which was set on August 4 this year.

Tomorrow’s hike sees the average price of unleaded soar by 30 cents per litre, and FuelWatch is encouraging motorists to fill up today to avoid being stung at the bowser.

On Wednesday, most branded retailers are increasing their unleaded price.
