Shocking video of two men jumping off one of Perth’s newest landmarks and into the Swan River has surfaced online.

The footage shows the pair climbing over the railing of the Matagarup Bridge in East Perth and jumping into the water below.

It appears the video — which has been viewed more than 22,000 times on TikTok — was filmed from the river bank on the other side of Optus Stadium, while others watched on from the footbridge.

It appears the clip was taken removed from the video platform sometime Wednesday morning.

One person could be heard yelling, “Oi, that’s lit”, before the men leap off.

The Matagarup Bridge is owned by Main Roads and displays the sign: “No diving.”

It is understood Main Roads will need to file a complaint with WA Police before an investigation can be launched.

It comes after another stunt on the famous landmark was captured on camera in 2019 and labelled as “incredibly dangerous” by authorities.

Main Roads and WA Police have been contacted by The West Australian.
