Alleged machete-wielding thug hospitalised after slicing hand during rampage with brother through Northbridge

A man is in hospital after accidentally slicing his own hand while wielding a machete during a rampage through Northbridge in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police allege a 24-year-old man armed with a machete and his 23-year-old brother, carrying a tyre iron, chased two men down Francis Street about 2.20am.
The alleged targets managed to escape and took shelter inside a nearby karaoke bar, where security staff blocked the entrance.
About 25 minutes later, officers arrested the brothers on Lake Street. Police say a tyre iron was found during a search of their Mazda.
